Social Event – Petanca/Petanque

We plan to hold a social event on Friday 4 October between 4pm and 6pm, which this year will be a Petanca/Petanque Tournament. The courts are in the Pinosol Park where we can enjoy an afternoon of fun and exercise along with chatting and getting to know your neighbours.

Players and spectators are all welcome to come along and enjoy a glass or wine or beer (or soft drink) together with some nibbles afterwards. There will be a prize for the winning team.

If you haven’t played before there will be someone to show you how. If you do play and have your own equipment please bring it along.

Please book on the form here so we know how many to cater for.

The Committee looks forward to welcoming as many owners as possible.

AGM notes

If you were unable to attend the AGM on 10 September this newsletter covers some of the points discussed ahead of the formal Minutes being produced.

  1. All the drains have been cleared ready for any further heavy rain over the winter. Owners are reminded that leaves and cutting from gardens should not be allowed to fall onto the roads or pavements as these cause blockages and the potential for flooding of homes and gardens.
  2. There are many hedges now badly overhanging the pavements and these should be cut back flush to the property boundary. Owners are reminded that they should not allow their hedges or other plants to obstruct the pavements. Please check yours and prune as soon as possible.
  3. We have sprayed the weeds and removed the dead plants. Owners are asked to keep the edge of the road and pavement near the home clear of weeds to reduce the need for spraying.
  4. Please be aware that garden fires and freestanding BBQs are not permitted within 500mtrs of the forest which is all around Pinosol Urbanisation.
  5. Please report any concerns about the Comunidad, including streetlights that need new bulbs to the President by email: president@comunidadpinosol.com
